Founded in 1983 by Samuel R. Shapiro, our initial eyewear Company was established. From our humble beginnings, Sam always focused on creative ideas and outside of the box ways to compete within the industry. Travels to Mido in Milan, Silmo in Paris and Hong Kong’s Optical Fair influenced his determination to move forward.
